Last week Spencer and Ryan went to boy scout camp. They worked hard, earned a lot of merit badges, and generally had a lot of fun doing things that would not be fun to me at all. (The girls and I had fun on our own and also became addicted to a dancing show.) We really missed the boys! Lydia was especially concerned about Spencer.
"We need to save some lunch for Spencer"
"No sweetie, Spencer is at camp. He will eat lunch there."
"But who will give him some? What will he eat?"

The boys returned Friday night after she was asleep. One of the sweetest thing I've ever seen was Spencer and Lydia's reunion at the top of the stairs Saturday morning. I wish I had a picture of the hugs that ensued.

Is Spencer officially taller than Ryan now?
So ridiculously glad you are bloggng I can't stand it....why havent we been doing this for YEARS. I have seen more of your kids in the past 10 min of your blog than the past 10 years. love love love you and your blogging!~!!!!!!!!
