Austin weekend

Is there something wrong with a person who starts a post on the 28th but doesn't complete it until the 10th? Not if she has four kids? O.K., thanks! Anyway, we spent a weekend in Austin not too long ago. The girls did the following:

Madison braved the diving board at Barton Springs


We all played in the "very brisk" water

although Lydia wouldn't go past her ankles (too fweezing!)

then played in the park

followed by watching the famous bats emerge from under Congress street bridge.

The boys watched the (bitterly disappointing to Spencer) BYU/UT game.

The next day we toured the Texas state capitol.

And in between we ate at yummy food carts!

It was so fun to get out of Dodge for a few days!
