Diaster

The good news: It is not very noticeable with her bangs combed just so.

The bad news: Lydia cut her hair.

(This picture with a busted lip and orange around her mouth makes for a lovely, classy picture.
But she wouldn't cooperate so it's the best I could get.)

None of my children have ever cut their hair. Or colored on the walls. And then I had Lydia. She has been a monkey from the get go. She colored all over the bathroom cabinet (see below). She had a fascination with lipstick, and colored all over a laundry basket with my favorite one (I looked for that picture, but just can't find it). Yesterday evening Ryan noticed the chunk out of her bangs and extracted a confession. Apparently, it was an accident. She was pretending to cut her hair, and accidentally did it for real. (I had trimmed her bangs just that morning, so pardon my disbelief in her innocence.)

I can't help but wonder -- what other "firsts" does Lydia have in store for me?

I love the coloring picture... she looks like she is mad at the paparazzi for bombarding her while she's working!
